Radiant Paints RP Liquid Rubber Fibre Paste (RP-LRFPA65) is a revolutionary water-based, fibre-reinforced acrylic paste engineered to deliver unmatched waterproofing performance. Specially formulated and SABS standard tested to bridge cracks up to 2mm, it creates a seamless, flexible membrane that withstands extreme UV exposure, temperature fluctuations, and harsh weather. Ideal for roof ridges, concrete slabs, parapet walls, galvanized steel, and masonry, it’s your all-in-one defence against leaks and structural decay.

Radiant Paints Liquid Rubber Fibre Paste is ready to use and real easy to apply. Simply prepare the surface and apply by brush, roller, or trowel. Please note that you cannot use an airless sprayer to apply the paste.
Application tips for perfection:
Prep Surfaces: Clean with sugar soap, remove loose debris, and ensure moisture <10%.
Prime: Metal → RP-MetX574; masonry/tiles → RP-BL846/RP-BL848.
Apply: Two coats at 90° angles (min. 6-hour drying between coats).
Avoid: Temperatures <10°C or >35°C, rain within 48 hours, or ponding water. Always wear PPE (gloves, respirator) during application.
Roofs: Concrete slabs, ridges, tiles (excluding slate/slurry), and metal flashings.
Structural Repairs: Seals joints, cracks, and parapet walls. For gaps >2mm, pair with polyfabric membrane.
Specialized Substrates: Galvanised steel, timber, fibre cement, and brickwork (after priming with Radiant’s bonding agents).
Coverage: 0.8–1.4 L/m² per coat.
Curing: Touch-dry in 2–4 hours (20°C); full strength in 7 days.
Packaging: 5L and 20L containers.
Colors: White, Charcoal and Greys, Blacks, Red, Terracotta Clay, Terracotta, Green, Felt Green, Blue, Burgundy (Special colors can be mixed upon request).

Radiant Paint's Liquid Rubber Fibre Paste are packed in 20 liter plastic containers which is ideal for contractors and DIY enthusiasts. Smaller 5 liter pack sizes are available on request.
It is ideal to clean equipment such as brushes, rollers, and trowels, as well as areas where spills occurred with running water while the product has not cured. When cured, the product is very hard to clean and can only be removed from surfaces using a combination of scrubbing and Lacquer thinners. Always use the correct PPE and safety precautions and measures when conducting a cleaning exercise.
