Radiant Paint's RP Crete (RP-CSK846) is a cutting-edge, two-component cementitious acrylic latex polymer engineered and SABS standard tested to waterproof, strengthen, and protect concrete surfaces. Ideal for floors, balconies, walls, showers, and roofs as it fills cracks, combats rising damp with unmatched flexibility and crack resistance. Unlike ordinary sealants, RP Crete penetrates deeply into substrates, binding friable surfaces and creating a robust, alkali-resistant barrier under tiles, paints, or screeds.
RP Crete is provided in two components. The milky liquid component, when mixed with the provided powder component cures into a robust highly waterproofed grey cementitious layer.
RP Crete can be applied by brush or roller. Follow the following simple application process of RP Crete’s unique three-coat system to ensure effective repairs, adhesion and waterproofing:
Base Coat: Apply 2mm thick, focusing on 90° wall intersections.
Reinforcing Layer: Embed a polyfabric membrane into a second 2mm coat, overlapping edges by 50mm.
Final Seal: Apply a third 2mm coat perpendicular to the previous layer, fully encapsulating the membrane.
Critical Tips:
Surfaces must be dry (<10% moisture), clean, and contaminant-free.
Avoid application in rain, extreme temperatures (<10°C or >35°C), or high humidity.
Never dilute—it compromises polymer integrity.

Radiant Paint's RP Crete comes packed in convenient 25L kits (polymer + powder) which is ideal for contractors and DIY enthusiasts. Simply mix and apply. Woven polyfabric membrane is not included.
It is ideal to clean all equipment such as brushes, rollers, and trowels, as well as areas where spills occurred with running water while the product has not cured. When cured, the product is very hard to clean and can only be removed from surfaces using a combination of scrubbing and chipping. Always use the correct PPE and safety precautions and measures when conducting a cleaning exercise.
